Ocala Fire Rescue reported a large tree crashed through the roof of a home along SE Eighth St, compromising the residences structural integrity by breaking through trusses and damaging areas from the kitchen and living room to a bedroom. Another tree had fallen from a neighboring yard onto the fence and roof of a house next door along East Fort king St. No injuries were reported.

According to Ocala Fire, at around 741 p.m., a report came in regarding a structure collapse with potential entrapment at Arborgate, located along NE 3rd St. A tree had fallen on a multifamily apartment complex. Crews arrived and found that a tree had uprooted and crashed through the roof and into the concrete-block structure. No injuries were reported.
